This just increased the value of our pick ten fold if Sanders is still there.
It's happening.

Manning in New Orleans is what you're sayingSaints in the running for the top pick in 2026, if I was them, I'd skip the QB this year and go all in on the tank for 2026.
Unless someone else trades up. No-one knows if someone will try to trade up, including the Saints, so the Saints would be better off to trading up to eliminate the risk. It is only a 2nd in a weak draft.I don’t think our pick is of value. If the Browns and Giants pass up Sanders, he will fall to the Saints. I haven’t heard anything about the Raiders or the Jets having any other interest in him, so if he falls out of the top 3, he’ll go to 9 and the Saints
It may be difficult for them, but I'm keeping an eye out for SF as the organization is getting desperate. Shanahan and Lynch have cost York a lot of money and not enough to show for it. I could see SF trade up out of nowhere leapfrogging NE and land Hunter. They need OL badly though and that's who they probably take at 11.Unless someone else trades up. Penix, Nix, and McCarthy are all starting this year even though they were panned as 2nd or 3rd rounders at one point last year.
He's still got about $60M in guaranteed money that's going to hit their cap if/when they cut him.The nice thing for the Saints was that Carr was relatively cheap for a vet QB.
Well, it wouldn’t be the Saints if they weren’t screwing up their cap. He's still got about $60M in guaranteed money that's going to hit their cap if/when they cut him.
Would you do 4, 38 and Olave for 9, 40 and 93?Look for teams to call for Olave. He's rotting in New Orleans.
Is it today or is it draft day with Hunter still available? If Olave's health checks out, the Pats could have him and be able to go T with the 9th pick. I'd put the Pats as the division favorite if this happens.Would you do 4, 38 and Olave for 9, 40 and 93?
I would.
Except they may like Shough or Dart or another QB more than Sanders. The issue now is that Sanders is not looked at as a clear QB2 in this draft by many teams anymore, he's in with a few other guys depending on the team.Unless someone else trades up. Sanders is a slightly tougher version of Mac Jones imho.Except they may like Shough or Dart or another QB more than Sanders. The issue now is that Sanders is not looked at as a clear QB2 in this draft by many teams anymore, he's in with a few other guys depending on the team.
It's unlikely the Saints love Sanders any more than 1 of the other QB's.
If someone is trading up for Sanders, it'll most likely be around pick 20 if he slips that far and trading up from round 2.
Sanders would have ranked below Penix, Nix and McCarthy.
