The offer is fair and no way the Patriots 'tag' him. I can't see BB agreeing to pay Deion Branch an average of the best WRs in football because he's not a top level elite WR. Branch should take this deal or leave it.

The Patriots made a very fair offer and there is NO WAY the Patriots will agree not to tag him, nor should they. If Chayut and Deion want to play hardball, fine. Sit out til week 10. Then THEY will owe KRAFT money. Then we'll tag him for next year. Works for us. That would be about 3.5 mill per season, on average. A steal for the Pats. BAD MOVE, Deion.
