Really? BB really doesn't sleep, huh. He game plans down to tampering with EVERY SINGLE game ball too?! Wow, he is a machine.

Is the league office open on MLK day (today)?

I would hate to have to wait any longer than we need to for the league to say this is stupid

Well, the NFL really is investigating this, but I don't understand how it could happen unless the league failed to follow its own rules and inspect the balls. My guess is there was one defective ball that's causing this issue. After all, if deflated balls are easier to handle, that would more likely help the Colts than the Pats since the Colts aren't used to playing with wet footballs.

League spokesman Brian McCarthy confirmed the investigation to USA TODAY Sports. It was first reported late Sunday night by Indianapolis television station WHTR’s Bob Kravitz.

...

NFL footballs are required to be inflated with 12.5-13.5 pounds of air, and home teams must give all game balls to the league two hours and 15 minutes prior to kickoff to be inspected.

If you're waiting under water for that to happen, you'd better have a snorkel.
I agree that its unlikely that BK will do anything but he should look at it this way. He owes it to the fans, the team, and the organization as a whole. By not fighting spygate he let the organization be dragged through the mud, and the the team and the name the N E Patriots have never recovered.
Kraft needs to stick up for the team and himself and do something or it will continue to happen, Like someone posted we can't win a game without there being some type of allegations of cheating being made.

If deflated footballs are easier to throw and catch then why were there so many dropped passes and Brady was off on more than a few. The Gronk INT down the seam was way underthrown and so was another down the middle to Andelman.

So was the long pass to Vereen which was wobbly and terribly underthrown yet he still made a great catch on it.

Must have been after that throw that Belichick commanded the balls be deflated

"A ball"?

If there was a problem wouldn't they be looking at multiple footballs?

Boomer said this morning when he played the refs got 24 balls before the game right out of the box. He said they were hard and slick and very hard to throw in bad weather. Guess who went to the commissioner and complained? You got it Peyton while he was playing for the colts. Now they deflate them and scuff them up before games.

In fairness, both brady and peyton made that rule change happen. Its a well known story.

The fact that Goodell didn't squash this baseless accusation from the first moment it came out proves he's an incompetent prick.
