And so on.

would like to see the Pats draft a NT today and maybe a WR and another ILB if there is any good sliding, but big NT/DT would help for such run heavy teams like ravens and titans, gotta have somebody hold the ground in the middle and not be pushed around like a toy

Would like to see a center , nt , wr, ot
I expect a kicker and a qb

QB and kicker seem a given. Then as per usual some o-line depth and a special teams demon. Would like to find a WR somewhere. Ideally an Edelman backup/replacement.

And we'll see if all those rumours of the Pats loving James Proche were true...

Based on quick scouting reports (since I have done little research into Day 3), my immediate targets:
  • QB James Morgan
  • OT Hakeem Adeniji
  • OG Shane Lemieux
  • WR Donovan Peoples-Jones
  • DT Leki Fotu (must pick)
  • CB Bryce Hall
  • K Tyler Bass or Rodrigo Blankenship, whoever is better.

Tyler Biadasz would be a good depth pick if he lasts to 159

Do we have enough draft value to get a 4th or another 5th ?

I also assume the time to trade thuney during the draft is over so this can only happen (if it does) before a certain date

Might as well keep Thuney now. Harder to find a capable replacement now that the first 3 rounds have passed. His on field ability would be hard to lose right now. Its pretty obvious were going to be a grind it out, physical team first, so establishing the run is going to be essential.

We have the ammo to get another 5th for sure. We have 3 6's I believe, so we can get back into the 5th. We know one of the picks is going to be a kicker though.

Leki Fotu and Darnell Mooney. Call it a day, and I'd be happy with the overall draft.

I like Fotu but I like his teammate John Penisini even more. I think he has a better anchor against the run and is very stout against double teams. As an early down, run stuffing NT I think he is a great fit.

Mooney is one of my favorite guys left at WR, he is electric. I would love a double dip at WR with Mooney and Jauan Jennings from Tennessee. Jennings is the most physical WR left in the draft and would be a perfect replacement for Sanu in 2021. I’m also a big Tyler Johnson fan, he is a route running wizard. He’s not the most athletic or explosive but he just gets open.

OL is going to be very interesting. I posted in a thread a few days ago wondering if we may see a change in the type of OL we target with Scar retiring. If we want to target a more physical, mauling OG there are a lot available (Muti, Kindley, Simpson and Dotson). If we want to stick with the more athletic zone blocking guys there are a few of those too (I really like Biadasz).

At OT I really like Saahdiq Charles from LSU. I think he has fringe 1st round talent but he also has off the field concerns. He is very athletic, good feet and strong hands. If he can keep it together off the field he is going to be a steal for someone. He is a legitimate LT.

And I think most of us are expecting a Kicker at some point. Belichick has traditionally targeted his specialists around the 5th round so I wouldn’t be shocked if that was our next pick.

I'm amazed Weaver is still on the board. He's not the most explosive, but he's been super productive and had an excellent 3 cone for a big guy. He's going to outplay his draft slot.
