Wow. If Revis can be had for $10-11M/year you have to go for it, even if it costs a 2nd.

Revis and Dennard outside
Arrington in the slot
Ryan #4

That is a fine secondary and actually has a chance of being healthy.

dennard has no business being a number 2

What did the Bucs give up for Revis again?

A first last year and a fourth this year (possibly a third if he is on their roster at 4PM on Wednesday).

Jason Licht comes from the Belichick management tree and probably learned it is better cut bait with a bad deal (and since the Bucs run the Tampa 2, Revis is a waste of money) rather than keep a player because the team gave up so much to get him.

How is that the opposite? They're both saying the same thing. That he will be either cut or traded.

It is opposite because at just before 11PM on a day I put in 11 hours of work, I my reading comprehension is crap.

The one good thing is that if the Pats do want to trade for Revis, Belichick and Jason Licht are really close. Belichick tends to have an edge over other teams in dealing with his former staff.

On the positive side, maybe all the people who think I am wrong about everything will actually agree with me on this one.

Not quite yet

Probably another late night tomorrow thanks to free agency too!

Unfortunately i'll be at work. Many twitter refreshes on my mobile tomorrow.

For me it will be betting on horses, watching said horses while working (and discussing them with customers), then going home and FA all night

Curran on CSNE rported that failing to trade him, Revis will be released thereby creating a domino effect for other free agent corners as he'll set the standard for everyone else. Curran also noted that the team that signs Revis is one less team that will be looking at Talib

Not that it means more than money to him, but Revis has stated and reiterated that he dislikes BB.
