Dane Fletcher Hurt?

We currently have TWO roster spots for Spikes and Fletcher. If one is put on IR, we may or may not sign someone wles, but the roster spot will be there.

Ignoring for a second that we're only at 88 or so right now anyways, why in the bloody hell would you IR Spikes or Fletcher to free a roster spot at this point, unless they're missing limbs? You've got 30 or so other guys to cut ahead of them that dont have a ******* chance in hell of making the roster.

On the first possession of the game, he tackled Blount right near the line of scrimmage, right around Blount's knees/shins. I rewatched it and couldn't really tell what happened, but he was holding his hand when he got back up; I guess Blount's knee probably came down on it? Hard to tell, for anyone with the nfl.com preseason package it happens at 0:02:36

I said this in a previous post but I'll say it again... After the above play, Fletcher jumped up and Carter gave him a really hard low-five for making the play. Fletcher grabbed his thumb/hand after that but there's no way of knowing if it was the play or the slap that caused the injury.

As long as it's not on his leg I have no problems with it... LB's can play with a cast. In fact, some can make one hell of a weapon out of it...

With the Spikes situation unclear and Cox off the roster, I was already expecting another LB to be signed.

If Fletcher is going to be out more than a week or two, even more so.
