this is from 10 years of drafting with a bunch of picks, id expect them to get some good players, even the raiders and lions hit occasionally
also lets not act like matt light and dan koppen are all-pros
as for brady they got really lucky but that was a one in a million thing, you cant point to him and say 'well this is a reason theyre great drafters!' remember they almost took tim rattay
yes the pats got lucky with brady but
the loins and raiders are all ways picking in the top 5 or 10 in the draft in the draft all of there picks should be starters in the NFL
the pats picks are high 20s or 32 or 31 and i few drafts with out a first round pick
when the pats did have a top 10 pick they got seymour a all pro DL men and maybe even the HOF one day
and mayo who looks to be one of the best ILB in the nfl
dose that make them the best drafting team in the NFL no but they are are one of the best
being a GM is not just about drafting its about FA to know to let go and who to bring in who fits the team
from 2001 till now this team has missed the playoffs just 2 time 2002 they where 9-7 and last year they where 11-5
we may never see a team go 11-5 and miss the playoffs again
they have never reay had a rebuilding year
even the steelers who we love how they draft LB have had a 6-10 year and a 8-8 year over that time
so can we realy sit here and be mad because they dont hit gold on every draft pick
when this team has a shot at wining the SB every year
