I always have wanted Branch back. He has showed some life the past couple of weeks in Seattle, but they would probably part with him. Wishful thinking, likely.

It is branch. Don't like it at all...he's a shadow of the player he used to be.....both knees are in bad shape....not sure why BB would bring him back...

Yes, your right, we are gonna draft/sign 2 1's, 2 2's, 2 3's and 2 's next year so the pick is absolutely crucial for the future of the team. Even if they aggressively package picks for future years, they still have an abundance of draft picks and unlike dollar bills, there is such a thing as "too many" low picks in "salary cap" sport.

2nd and 3rd round picks aren't low picks, and no, you can never have too many picks in those rounds.

Branch is worth a 5th at best.

If the rumors are true regarding Brady wanting Branch, there's a couple reasons players don't have a say on personnel decisions.

1. They don't even know most of the players names and call them by number or wrong name
2. They don't have the time or care to keep on who's good and who isn't.
3. Players like Kobe Bryant suggest that Bynum should be traded for Jason Kidd.
