Am i the only that find a match up between the two somewhat a problem?
Weiss and romeo vs BILL

Unless you see it going down like how Bledsoe used to play used to play the pats .

Considering the fact they won't make the playoffs, no.

Weird you're worried about a team that will finish 3rd in the AFC West and wouldn't even be in the post-season if the season ended today, Raiders would.

Cardinals
Seahawks
Broncos
Chargers
Rams
Titans
Raiders

That's not a murderous schedule, but the Chiefs are a team still trying to improve the talent base and move beyond 2-4 wins. If they make the playoffs, I expect the'll get pummeled in the first round.

I expect the Chiefs are a better designed team than the Herm Edwards led Chiefs that last made the playoffs in 2006, but I expect the results would be similar (in 2006, Indy 23, KC 8).

At this point, even with a weak schedule the Raiders (it stings just to say that) and Chargers could pass them in the division. No wild card should come from the AFC west, so it's likely one or done.

I'm with everyone else: I would be pretty shocked if KC makes it to the playoffs. In recent seasons it seems that SD plays poorly for the first 8 games then plays awesome for the last 8 games and then poops on IND in the playoffs and then loses to us in the playoffs.

This scenario was probably just one year..

They will not make the playoffs. In fact, I feel really bad for Matt Cassel having such crappy receivers to work with.

It seems to be that way.

The Chiefs could very well be in the post season, but no way is Cassel or that WR corp good enough to beat NE.

KC 5 - 4
Oak 5 - 4
SD 4 - 5

Its going to be horse race till the end and 9 - 7 could clinch the AFCW.

they wont get there i think.SD will

I hope not. Honestly, SD is the last team I want to play against.

me too but i think they will make it. They are as talented as anyone else but make dumb mistakes. In the post season they could cause a lot of problems.

i think they're terrible. Have been when i've seen them play. I've never thought much of Cassel as a QB though either.

I would love to see Matty Cassel come back to New England for a playoff game against us.

Ive always liked Cassel and my friends used to bust my balls when I told him that he could come in and do a good job if Brady ever got hurt. I said that after the 2005 game against Miami when he played. Hes a competitor just like Tom is and can use his legs and is a poor mans Steve Grogan with a better arm.

That being said, put 8 in the box and make Cassel beat us. He isnt exactly surrounded by the 1999 Rams.

I wouldn't worry about Weiss and Crennel, I'd worry about McCluster.

Okay, now that they made it..................

While I do have a slight fear of RC and CW coming back and game-planning. Overall, I don't there is enough talent on team to beat NE in Foxboro. I like them (what's not to like), and they are a nice story, but I think TFB BOB would have a field day on that Defense.

I'd be more worried about Hosting Baltimore or Indy the week before (particularly Baltimore).

Well, here's why I'd be nervous about KC, and it has nothing to do with RC or CW:

Other projected playoff teams:

Pitt (played already)
Indy (played already)
NYJ (played already)
Baltimore (played already)

BB does very well seeing opposing QB's the second/third time in a season. First time, especially if he's never game-planned them before? Hmmm... Green Bay? Cleveland? Even Fitzpatrick in the first Bills game... yeah, I'd be nervous about KC, right there with the Colts. Plus Cassel is no stranger to Gillette. JMHO.
