With the posts coming fast and furious I can't remember if this has been posted here before (if so, may even have been by me!) but I think it outlines the best option to both save lots of lives and get the economy restarted in a couple of months. However, it also is going to mean people cannot be abject morons (and probably implies force if they continue to be abject morons) and it requires that we massively increase the testing infrastructure.

Lmao. I don't have a beef with Tucker. I don't watch or listen to anything he says. Just find it amusing that the President intently listens to what he says and then either tweets it or comes out the next day and parrots it. Then his supporters also get their talking points from the same source.

It's incredible that the Country policies are being inspired by a talking head. That there's an army of "Tuckers" running around all saying the same thing kinda like stepford wives or incels or whatever. Hilarious really.

He’s actually gotten trump to change his mind on meaningful issues though. IMO he’s by far the best talking head on cable news, and the ratings show that. But I’m not a cable news watcher anyway.

It’s good that trump has an open mind I suppose but also a huge concern that has to be set straight on major issues

What is potentially troubling is the uptick of new cases and deaths in Singapore. It’s most likely due to the relaxation of some social distancing guidelines but it’s a signal Trump should pay attention to as he weighs relaxing similar guidance in the US.

Hong Kong numbers went up as well.

Wouldn't the reduction in Italy's numbers show proof that quarantines work?

If so, why is donny suggesting restrictions could be reduced next week? Wouldn't it make sense to keep the restrictions in place until our numbers reduce for at least a couple weeks?

The Surgeon General just stated "we really really need everyone to stay home."

What am I missing? Is he still lying trying to keep his approval numbers up?

This virus isnt going anywhere if staying inside is the only way to combat this.

1 case has already exploded into a world wide pandemic.

It's literally impossible for the entire world to stay inside until there is officially no cases left.

Great article. Unfortunately, it is too late imo for any Suppression measures. Even mitigation isn't being enforced in a national fashion. If you notice majority of states with lock downs are lead by Democratic Governors. The Florida Governor has done very little to promote mitigation measures. Louisiana has now asked for lockdowns but Michigan hasn't. It's all over the place. Not ideal.
