Someone like Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton would likely be in the Conservative a Party in the UK for instance.

What industries exactly?

Sweden runs a mining enterprise, a pharmaceutical retailer, a broadcast company. In all of those countries, utilities, alcohol retailers, gambling, infrastructure contractors, railways, and airlines are fully or mostly nationalized. The major mobile phone provider in Sweden and Finland is owned in part by both countries. All of the countries have a national bank. Norway has its sovereign wealth fund from oil and nationally owns huge portions of private companies across the world but especially in Norway itself so the country has a presence on many boards of directors. Finland and Sweden both have smaller direct holdings through their national banks.

Many mainstream economists would say something similar, though. In economic terms, bBillionaires are a market inefficiency, they can't possibly use all their money in a productive way so they engage in rampant speculation or monopoly-seeking.

He’s been a Senator in a position of power in a repeat overly safe seat for quiet a long time.

And billionaires only exist because of a system that creates world wide inequality. Also it’s basically resource hoarding. You have to fix the system first. It’s really not a feasible way to maintain society and we’ve seen what happens when it’s allowed to swing too far in that direction (hint it always ends badly).

Capitalism doesn’t work unregulated. Certain services need to be classified as utilities and not privatized. There’s a reason we don’t have private police forces

FDR purposely kept us in the Great Depression far longer than was necessary...him kicking the bucket was net positive for the future of the country.

Reality is more like the rest of the world is more left wing than the USA.

We are the standard of the world. The Dollar dictates the global economy.

If Dollar tanks out, what currency is left to take over? It's not going to be the Pound, or the Euro... The Euro is losing it value in a freefall, due to rising nationalism in West Europe. And ,due to Brexit, the Brittish Pound is less than the Dollar now. There is literally no other currency to take it's place.

I would probably gain about a hundred pounds trying all the various foods. The different goulashes alone would probably be good for about 75-80lbs.

Desserts will kill you too. I was there 5 days and walked everywhere I went. Probably walked 30-35+ miles during that time.

He’s almost universally considered one of the top 3 American Presidents along with Washington and Lincoln, and it’s no coincidence that we’ve had more economic issues as many of the protesters toons he put in place were rolled back. Sure it is. It’s just a less extreme form of socialism. There are differences with socialism just like there are different, and more extreme forms, of communism. Just because it’s less extreme doesn’t mean it isn’t socialist.

Do you honestly believe that? FDR was leading us into a socialist ****hole had he lived. We'd be 50 years further into the welfare state and would definitely be a 3rd world nation by now.

I'm only basing it on fiat currency. There's no other fiat currency that the rest of the world has faith in. China constantly manipulates it currency to f^ck everyone else over.

That’s fine but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t elements of socialism within those countries re: ownership of the means of production. Arguing that Democratic Socialism isn’t socialism is brain dead.
