HEYO Portland ME just got the shutdown notice starting tomorrow at 5PM. Better go binge all of my social contact before Im cooped up with the mutt and the wench.

Gotta be impressed with someone who's trying to set a record for wearing the same shirt day after day.

I’ve spent the past week down in the suburbs and today there are a lot more people out and about than usual. How stupid are people in this country? Smdh
I'd like know where they are going? When I'm out (which is only for groceries) I see people going places other than there or the gas station or drugstore. In fact, I'm still seeing way more cars than I should and it's pissing me off. It should be a damn ghost town.

And I see way too many teenagers walking around, on bikes, skateboards, etc.. I get it as I would've been doing the same thing when I was their age not taking the situation seriously.

It’s so annoying that both sides are trying to use the crisis to get their agenda pushed. About bout just putting stuff in the goddamn bill that only has to do with the crisis

I don’t see a problem as long as they keep their distance from others

This is 1000% the fault of leadership. Light suggestions and constantly talking in his speeches about how we’re probably lifting restrictions soon. Recipe for disaster and this will absolutely lead to a lot more deaths.

As I’ve been saying, you can’t blame everything on Trump. But you absolutely can blame these tepid ******** half-measures on him.

I think he’s the only world leader who isn’t respecting human life and only thinking about himself.

**** this clown. This outbreak has caused me have TDS, proudly. And I hope a lot of undecided/swing voters also realize what we’re dealing with.

I was out going to get rid of trash and the roads were as busy as you’d ever see them on a work week, more so. A dozen people walking out of a church, people walking and biking in groups.

I get it in regard to wanting to exercise. I go for walks as well but it just seemed like way too many people were out. And I fear what happens when the President tells the country that all is good, we can congregate again.

I’ve tried to be as fair as possible to Trump in the past despite the glaring fact that the guy is largely incompetent and not suited to lead. But this has pushed me over the edge. He is a moron and a dangerous one at that. Totalitarian countries are taking this more seriously than Trump. Just ****ing think about that.

For sure.

I always liked George W. Bush despite his presidency being largely a disaster. His heart was in the right place. Despite making wrong decision, he really felt he was doing what was best for the country.

Not the case with McTrump.

by shutting down schools sure. But the districts should be putting plans in place for remote and online learning
The state is requiring that no remote and online learning happen.

Not sure. I'm in central MA. The SD my niece and nephew are in is a rock-solid SD. Well run. High % kids going on to 4yr schools. Technically advanced but yet they are doing nothing to educate these kids.

then they’re not really advanced at all

Not surprised, considering you didn't get anything out of the JHU study I posted when you said there was no link.
You posted a Fox News article. Im very doubtful you have read or digested anything presented in that study. In fact another poster linked the PDF. I have already parsed it, replied with a short bit and heard nothing from you regarding it. I assumed youd been dismissed.
