The problem with draft grades is that the analysts don't usually say it with their chest. They'll have a team reach up and down the board according to their own rankings and give them a B-. At the end of the day, draft rankings are kind of pointless. These analysts make their draft boards and teams either draft in agreement with them or their opinions differ. All you're really doing with these grades The fact that their grades are high across the board just reflects that they drafted in accordance with what most of the media big boards said. That's only as good or as bad as those boards turn out to be accurate for their picks.

I look at the draft and it feels like each pick has sound logic. You can see the scheme fit and the potential role opening really for each guy maybe except that Mr. Irrelevant CB. It doesn't feel like any of their evaluations were way far off the wall from what the consensus was, which is reassuring as a fan and I guess eases some angst, even though it's not inherently good or bad. Overall I see the logic in what they did and it looks good on paper to me, but we'll see if they can play.

Being on the west coast I'm not exposed to these clowns. Of course Sanders was the 2nd QB they drafted, so not sure how getting Sanders was a win.

Now the Browns have two good lottery tickets for the Manning sweepstakes, their’s and Jacksonville’s.
