Thanks for being respectful all week leading up to the game. You have us all valuable insight and you stood up to those of us (myself included) who debated you. I believe you even called a pick six, if memory serves. Good fight. The Falcons played in a way I never saw coming. And as much as the Patriots players will say they never doubted, I believe btw, I don't think they expected the fight they got either. And as Deus said, your team should be around for years to come... even without Shanahan, IMO. That defense is young, fast and they got valuable championship level experience last night. They stared down the GOAT and have him all he could handle. But he is the GOAT for a reason after all. Thanks for being a good, albeit temporary, addition to Patsfans.com. I guess we'll meet again Thursday night in a few months.

 

[Keep Up With The Joneses]

I watched a lot of the Falcons this year (I had Julio and Gabriel on my fantasy team), and I knew going down the stretch they were the team to beat in the NFC, and were the one team who might actually be able to take the Pats down. That offense is awesome in all aspects, and the defense is fast as hell and will get better with experience.

At the end of it all I think they were just shellshocked and the moment was a little too big for them. I don't envision them fading away like many SB losers do. I would not be surprised to see both teams right back here again next year.

Every team has some crappy fans, and I won't use them as representative of what I think of the Falcons. They brought it and have my utmost respect. Thanks for coming back and facing the crowd.
