BB's fetish must be earning a first round bye in the playoffs...this is the fifth time in the last 10 years he has done it. Fyi, the first 4 have resulted in 4 trips to the SB.

WOW.

With all the drama that happened this year, the Patriots continued to plow through the competition. I remember at the beginning of the season, we all knew this would be a difficult schedule. It has been and yet the Patriots have still managed a 13-2 record AND HFA throughout the postseason.

Just WOW.

That all being said. I am still cautiously optimistic. If the defense plays against a team who plays mistake-free football, the Pats are in trouble. It seems the only way the defense can get off the field is if the other team screws up. Hopefully they can keep the mojo going for 4 more games.

I don't think we'll have to face Brady.

Don't you just love that media driven myth??? We've lost two or three or more less games than the best of the rest - the so called iron in the AFC and yet our two losses just screamed flawed to so many... Those other teams all have so much more "talent" (which as SD routinely underscores aparently doesn't correlate to winning if you can only identify it in slots 1-25...as opposed to 1-sixty-something...). Every team proclaims they are prepared for the next man in line to step up. Talk is cheap, this team delivers on that talk and walks the walk... Depth and coaching matter. When the rest of them gut out a game they are warriors, when we do it just proves we're not all that good since we had to...LOL
