Sure I do, it even has a name: Tom Brady.
Adrian Peterson, the NFL's leading rusher, might take issue with that.
It's week 8 and this is the stuff you guys are getting worked up about?
We are only 8 games into the season and the MVP has already been decided i.e Peyton Manning. These days no matter which sports show you listen to everybody seems to have already crowned Peyton as the MVP......... I mean he is a great QB blah blah blah but crowning the MVP 8 games into the season ????
Peter king had made up his mind on the MVP the day Peyton signed with the Broncos
Saint Dungy .... well he will call Peyton the MVP even after Peyton retires
Two people whom i have not heard call Peyton this years MVP are Rob 'Packer' who in my humble opinion is the worst sports writer/host ever. As per him the only MVP is Rodgers. And the other person is Skip "Tebow" Bayless.
The Broncos have a great team this year no doubt, Their defense is one of the best in the NFL their defense is playing at the same level they did with Tebow at the helm. So far they have beaten the Steelers,Raiders,Chargers and Saints.
Lets face it other than the Steelers none of the teams they have beaten are even going to end up with a winning record this year. The Broncos got their collective asses kicked by the Texans,Falcons and the Pats.
I find it surprising that when Peyton has been less spectacular than Eli,Matt Ryan and Adrian Peterson how is he the unanimous MVP ?
He is lock for the MVP unless denver implodes. Media loves the mannings and the whole family very media savvy. Everyone in the media wants to give manning the awards. Remember before the Saints SB everyone was ready to crown him the greatest ever ?

If the second half of the season plays out like the first half and Manning gets the MVP award, it will show what kind of a joke the award is and the media bias towards Manning. He is certainly a contender for the prize, but he isn't #1 or even #2 in my eyes. I would put his brother and Matt Ryan over him. Possibly Brady.
People forget that the Broncos were 8-8 with a gimmick QB in Tebow who was incapable of putting up even 20 PPG last year. The Broncos had a pretty good defense, running game (even without Tebow), o-line, and receiving corp without Manning. All they were missing was a QB to put them in the hunt for the Super Bowl. Against good teams this year, Manning had painfully slow starts that allowed the opposing team to get a huge lead and then Manning padded his stats when the game was already virtually out of hand.
Manning will win Comeback Player of the Year (although I would argue that Adrian Peterson may deserve it more), but at this point I don't think he deserves MVP.
The thing I don't get is that people (nationally) are touting Manning's performance against a horrible defense in the Saints and glossing over Brady's performance against a far superior defense in the Rams. People also seem to forget the Broncos defense held Brees to one of his worst games of the season and shutting down Brees is much tougher than shutting down Bradford.

I can never forget that season especially the pre SB hype of Peyton being the greatest ever and then after the game losing INT by Manning everyone went into hiding till this season........ If it would have been Brady in place of Manning ppl would have said look who he has won against Raiders,Chargers (who cannot win against the Browns )....... Sometimes the Peyton Ball washing by the media gets too ridiculous

Brady loses two SuperBowls in which he came back from a deficit and had his team ahead with 3 minutes to go and everybody jumps to say he isn't clutch anymore, can't close out games, has lost his magic, etc. Manning has a 10 point lead in the first quarter, blows it, then throws a pick-6 while driving to tie the score, and caps it off turning the ball over on downs, and hardly anyone dares to speak about that game. The Colts were the better team, the Colts were favored, they started the game on fire, and Manning blew it. It's that simple.
