I’m rooting hard against the Chiefs, but at least you can say Mahomes is a worthy quarterback to win a championship. It was always so hard to watch Manning luck out after years of excuse making. I mean, people crying about him losing because of one onside kick or the defense allowed 23 points!! People starting in about the Packers special teams…lol…they allowed 13 points total.
Every QB has to deal with ****. When the QB fails, the organization takes the blame. When the QB succeeds, the coach is a genius. Mahomes could have failed like 4 times tonight, but instead they won’t be talking about how the Chiefs organization is a bunch of failures. That’s what winners do.
Now, there are exceptions, of course. On the other side of the coin, the organization did let Josh Allen down. But this type of extreme case is so rare where a guy plays perfectly, leads two game winning drives, and still loses. It never happened to Manning or Rodgers, ironically, though the media acts like that’s their postseason stories.
