N’Keal Harry Reflects Back On Draft Experience With Posting To Instagram
David Kohl - USA TODAY Sports
New England Patriots wide receiver N’Keal Harry couldn’t help but feel nostalgic one year after his NFL draft selection on Thursday.
On his Instagram account, Harry took a look back at the moment he received the call from Bill Belichick on draft night.
Harry posted footage from “Hey Rookie Welcome To The Show” along with a photo of his reaction to the news.
“Draft day‼️ Can’t believe it’s already been a year.” Harry wrote on Instagram.
“The feeling of hearing my name called was something that was truly indescribable. Good luck to all the players in this year’s Draft! Remember that wherever you end up, it’s in God’s plan❤️ #PatsNation,” the caption continued.
Take a look at Harry’s posting below.
Harry saw limited action in 2019 after spending the first half on injured reserve with an ankle injury. He caught 12 passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns in seven games played.
Back in March, Harry was left off an ESPN graphic that asked “Which Will Be The Next Sophomore Superstar?” fueling additional motivation in the young receiver.
Earlier this month, Harry revealed he’s been working with Jarret Stidham in an effort to stay in sync and build chemistry together despite the ongoing pandemic logistic problems.
“I talked to Stidham the other day to make sure we read the (passing game) script,” Harry said to NFL media’s Steve Wyche. “If this goes on for a long time and there is no offseason training or OTAs, we’re going to have to meet up and get to work.”
Harry will look to silence the critics with a new quarterback tossing him the ball in 2020 and establish himself as the first round pick Bill Belichick believed in.
