Comparing last years defensive performance vs this year

Don’t place the blame on the rams and Goff for the loss. Give all the credit to the pats defense. Brady would have had a lot of trouble playing against our defense today. Our dbs were tight on everyone they covered, that was one of the main differences from last year. Except on rare occasions, We didn’t allow receivers to run free on every play.

A lot of posters have pined for a downhill aggressive defense during the Pees/Patricia years and we finally got one and it was executed so well during the playoffs.

Romo pointed it out so much last night how our defense was simply being aggressive one gaping or stunting. I did not see a lot of two gap technique which Foles and that Eagles offense exploited.

That Gilmore int was a microcosm of what these playoffs was about. Aggressive call on defense executed at the highest level.

Flores' playcalling was brilliant. Sucks we only had him at DC for one year.

I agree, Flores made this defense shine!
Sure we had some ups and downs, but if he stays boy this defense is gonna raise havoc!

All this talk about Brady and chip on his shoulder leading up...but our defense was flat out embarrased last year and they took it personal and won this game for us.
