I imagine Kingsley who they drafted last year wpuld move to Thuneys spot. Safe to say they are in competition for a LT as well.

We actually want to protect Maye short term and long term. The kid had two, possibly three concussions last year.

Seeing him get sacked 50 times and in the medical tent half a dozen times next year would be a disaster
Absolutely correct. The trades don't really bother me one way or another.. they are guards.. our ineptitude is at the OT spots. We can get by at Guard.. I'm confident in what Vrabel's doing this isn't the gong show of last season.

What a joke

Thuney has played alot of good ball.. his best days are behind him... nothing to see here.. Last 30 something year old OL couldn't even make it through training camp.. Reilly reiff.. the guard spots aren't our real the problem the OTs are.

What a joke

Yeah I’m sure it was a unilateral Wolf decision.

In any event, not broken up about it.
Wolf said he has full accountability for personel decisions period.
Another lost opportunity. Why would anyone want an all pro instead. Of Sidy Sow

When I played on the line high school, my coach used his love for her tits in practice, we used to do pass blocking drills and the coach would have us go from our stance to pumping our feet and would yell "MRS. HOGAN" whenever he wanted us to punch out our arms.
That's Fnnnn hilarious

So you believe there’s a world where Vrabel is like “hell yeah let’s trade for Thuney!” and Wolf is like “nah, son.”

Yeah I don’t think so.

Good thing those aren’t their only options.

I do not see any downside to this trade. They have 125 million which they will not be able to spend on quality players.
Thuney would bring leadership to OL and improve the guard play.
Whether it's Vrabel or Wolf or Kraft....if they want to try to get better they have to make some moves like this.

You have a point, obviously Vrabel weighed in and also probably did not want him.
To me it seems like a bad sign for next week and how aggressive they will or can be.

Completely agree. Why in hell would Wolf not agree to a 2026 4th rounder.

Wolf has very very poor judgment (see Ladd Mcconkey)

Zero confidence in him
It’s not the pick, it’s the cap hit, and more importantly the fact that there are much more necessary needs to fill.
