If Moses retires, these may be one-year options.

Look at it this way, at least it's not the AFCCG last year, when we were already out of it. If ever there was an asteroid game, that was it. The only solace I took from that game was saying over and over, "At least one of them is going to LOSE! At least one of them is going to LOSE!!.." Few things pained me more last year knowing those two damn hated teams were playing we were not.

I can't pick one or the other. I just can't. Hate 'em both too much. Whatever happens, happens. It is what it is. One of them is going to lose. There's pluses and minuses for the Pats based on either scenario.

One Dolphin fan put it best,

"I hate the Jets, if the Jets were playing Al-Qaeda, I would root for Al-Qaeda."

This was her response to my asking her who she was rooting for week 2 in the Pats-Jets game.

Jets...Because I actually have respect for the Colts.

The JETS - Beating the in them regular season was great. Beating the in them in the playoffs PRICELESS.

Sorry I want the Colts to win. This constant banter from Rex saying hes has the best team in the NFL, and now in the Playoffs needs to be nipped in the butt.

I am not picking for or against either team, I am picking against Rex. Maybe he will learn to watch his mouth next year and give other teams a little more respect. Rex one and done.
besides Colts should not be able to win in Foxboro, they are way to banged up.

I voted Colts, but really, I just don't know. My perfect playoff scenario would be that the Colts would knock off the Jets, the Ravens would knock off KC, we would knock off the Ravens, the Steelers would knock off the Colts and we'd play the Steelers in the AFC Championship Game. I think Big Ben is the QB most likely to have a bad game and not be able to match wits (and points) with Brady (other than Cassel, but I don't see KC getting past the Ravens).

But then I have doubts and think, why not have Indy taken out by the Jets, let us play them because we should be able to kick their butts again (or at least win), then have either KC or Baltimore try to take out the Steelers. Joe Flacco is no big offensive threat and after playing us, he was horrible in the playoffs last year. In fact, he wasn't that great against us, but our D lost containment of the running game and Brady got spooked by the loss of Welker.

But then I think, well, what if KC wins because of its home field advantage, and we get to play Cassel & Co., that would be great. I bet BB could exploit Cassel's weaknesses (so back to cheering for Indy).

It's enough to make your head explode. I just hope we play well against whoever comes this way. The expectations for this team are out of this world.

talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place. well, even though Indy is the more dangerous team, it will have to be them just because I can't stand for anything good to happen to the Jest.

Seeing the Jest get blown out in their first playoff game would be wonderful. I at least respect the Colts as a team.

I am rooting for the Colts, because I'm sick to death of the Jets. I'm tired of watching them, tired of hearing about them, and tired of them playing the Patriots. Enough is enough.

You're going to get your wish. Jets are one and out.

If the Ravens win the Jets, if the Chiefs win the Colts.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Ideally though, Jets and Chiefs win, then Chiefs beat the Steelers, limping into Gillette for the Champtionship game.

Rooting for Jets. Wife's family is Jets fans throughout. I want them to have one happily delusional weekend.

Who do we want to win Jets @ Colts?

I was thinking about this all day, and I really do not know who we want to win that game.

If the Ravens win, obviously we want the Jets to win. But if the Ravens somehow lose, then the patriots would play the chiefs.

I can't really root for either team, but if I had to pick one, which one????

Or should I just watch the game without rooting for anybody?

I posted this same thread yesterday with a poll, but it got moved

I actually made up my mind. I am rooting for the Jets. There would be NOTHING, I MEAN NOTHING better to crush the jets on January 16th, 2011, Ending their pathetic season.

That being said. Go Jets!

Something for people to think about.....

A Colts loss puts Manning under .500 in career playoff winning percentage.

I hate the Jets. I dislike the Colts. It's a no brainer.

Colts..i will NEVER....NEVER root for the Jets

I want to see Manning in the AFC Championship game. Hold that offensive juggernaut to 3 points!

The results of this poll are almost puke inducing. I hate both teams, and I will not hesitate to say that the Colts are the tougher match-up for us out of the two, but I cannot root for the Jets. Give me the team outside of the AFC East everytime. Then give me a favorable outcome for whoever plays the winner next (especially if that's the Pats).

lots of people think this will be closer game with jets having a very good chance to win because of colts injuries and jets running game. Colts struggled vs titans too. Depends really on sanchez. i really hope the colts win so we dont need to hear from the best team in the nfl for a few months.
