Thank you for the Styx earworm!
And that would be more admirable if this team was not a perennial contender and postseason participant. I am not sure where Kraft could even stick his fingers in realistically.
I get where you are coming from but it is easy to be the idle boss in times when things go the right way. If you go through 2-3 years of failure it is an entirely different story.
Expanding a bit. I wrote a while back in the draft forum, I don't even think it matters after a certain point. Don't see a huge difference between 6'2 or 5'10 tbh. Esp when you talk abt the context added post snap.
6'4+, looked into this a little bit. Basically its Manning by a mile. Then Ben, Cam & then you get into guys like Flacco, Schaub & Freeman. Its a tiny list.
Everyone else from Montana, Brady, Young, Marino etc are all 6'4 & under.
I wonder if Chicago would be an option if they keep pissing on themselves.
@patfanken - McDaniels has had his only success with an OPEN-MINDED professional veteran QB. Everything about Baker Mayfield screams CLOSED MINDED, stubborn contrarian.
The very last job on earth McDaniels
would want (save for Afghani minesweeper) is the Browns Job.
From afar it seems like they anointed Mayfield as the savior of this long suffering franchise, and place him on a lofty perch... he was not ready and is not ready for that role.
What Mayfield needs is some really good NFL coaching to see if his career can be salvaged, until then just more mediocrity in Cleveland..
What's truly unfortunate for the long suffering Brownies fans is not all that long ago they would have been thrilled with mediocrity. OFC that was before the damn media anointed their team and they bought into the hype.
Call me crazy but I'm not ready to call a QB who's already put in one good season a bust.
Separate names with a comma.
