The Patriots run identical plays from Atlanta's 45, that they do from their own 20 in that situation.

Why are we still talking about this. We've all seen the clip and NO ONE on the Patriots is clapping when that ball is snapped. It didn't HAPPEN, Raheem, and now you owe us an apology.

We shouldn't be satisfied just to see this quietly disappear into the nonstory it is. If it isn't quashed it will only be used the next time someone wants to make false illusions and aspersions on our team.

BTW- it was a 4th and 19 what are the odds it's a hail mary. If we missed that 3rd down it would have given them 20 odd seconds and time for 3-4 plays to get to FG which in this day and age is at the 45-50, or about 30yds. 30yd in 4 plays and one TO is quite possible.

It was 4th and 20 @ the Atlanta 42 yard line. Don't convert and the Pats are already in FG range with a 59 yarder assuming that they cant move the ball.

While you miss every shot that you don't take, Atlanta would have gotten the ball back with approximately 1 minute and no TOs to get in FG range. The Falcons defense totally blew it leaving Henry so open when he is arguably Mayes go to guy.

I have no problem with a coach protecting his team or an individual player publicly. I prefer the, "we just didn't execute" statement and coach the player or team privately but that's me. Morris knows better....I think?

Are we suggesting the free safety deep in the backfield could be heard clapping so that’s why the preemptive snap? It’s hard enough to hear six feet away from the QB, the center usually sees the QB clapping… not hears him.
