But then Butler dropped and they had to take him. Then they were stuck with :Pretty clear they were not fixated on Butler as reported. Kept backing down even though they didn't believe he'd last to where they were retreating to... Until in the end value and opportunity converged at a point where they couldn't say no.
Was going to post this myself, but you all beat me to it. It was a TERRIFIC event -- very illuminating on a lot of levels, particularly the whole pre-draft evaluation process, as well as their thoughts on Chung and Butler. If they ever have another one, I highly recommend it. And, as an added bonus, I got to meet some other patsfans.com posters. Good times all around!
