They can't decide if they're going to keep Denver in the game or not. Exciting to watch them though, 75% chance of a big play for someone whenever KC is out on D right now.

I’m not cheering any potential long term injury by Mahomes. I’d rather beat him on the field. That could happen to Brady too so let’s count our blessings.

The only player I was ever happy when he got hurt was Ray Lewis, because I have hatred in my heart for him. Then he cheated to get healthy early, and said God healed him. Seriously, a torn triceps should take more than six weeks to heal.

Were you able to walk fine immediately afterward?

Nope. He might've escaped major damage to the cartilage, bone and ligaments. In my case I suffered not only the dislocation, but stretching in my patellar tendon, patella fracture with cartilage damage and a severe bone bruise to my femoral head. I wasn't able to walk for roughly a week. Between the swelling and bone fragment I had at best 60-70° flexion. I had surgery about 18 months ago and knee still isn't right and never will be again.

In mahomes case, it all depends on the angle of his knee at time of dislocation and the force of it. Those two things will determine extant of damage.
