Well, a hypothetical situation where the Chargers call the Patriots means nothing too.media reports personally mean nothing to me until it is finalized.....absolutely nothing....seen stuff like this before change at the drop of a hat
0-16gronkowski for their first in 2019? Very tempting, but i’ll Have to pass.
Gronkowski is a desperately needed receiver now.
Edelman is 33 and coming off a torn acl. Plus he has an injury history.
Hogan is slow.
Mitchell does not look healthy.
Dorsett is an empty uniform.
Britt is an under achiever, but could be special in our offense.
Mathews is slower than hogan. But very good at creating separation.
Bottom line is we need gronkowski to catch some balls for us this season.
BB might welcome this to regain 100% control of his team. He was willing toThe two players definitely go hand in hand these days. I think moving either player would jeopardize the situation of the other. No doubt.
Its time for someone's diaper change I thinkBB might welcome this to regain 100% control of his team. He was willing to
lose a Superbowl game to do this.
I’m more of a sun-chips guy myselfPringles?
.
We can trade them Dwayne Allen for a 2nd.
Remember the long thread we were all arguing this and some people on here were actually okay with him getting traded/thought he would get traded? LOL.The OP says after Henry, the Chargers have “virtually no TE on the roster”. Guess what, after Gronk, the Pats have “virtually no TE on the roster. The Pats have Gronk, and then all scrubs with question marks. If the Pats lose Gronk, they lose TE as a weapon. He’s not going anywhere.
even trade for Bosa, do it!The Chargers have virtually no TE on the roster worth a damn and Henry was expected to be a huge part of that offense but now he's gone with a torn ACL
With Gates far past his prime and the Chargers wanting to move on,its entirely possible the Chargers make an attempt on getting Gronk - hope not with his contract under negotiation but would not shock me if they did and what they would offer.
Opinions?
Gronk would be a big loss but he has been often injured and yet with Tommy at the helm, the Pats still won plenty of games - The Chargers WR corps is overall mediocre IMO with an Erratic Rivers and Henry was supposed to be a huge factor in their offensive game plansThe OP says after Henry, the Chargers have “virtually no TE on the roster”.
