Celtics 2024-2025 Discussion

Kevin Harlan didn’t say anything after that Siakam 3 pointer to put the Pacers up 15. I hope fear he might have killed himself. I’vr never heard a national broadcaster have more bias for a team than this nutlicker when talking about this series. Dude basically had a stroke at the end of G2 and ranted that the away team has a big advantage in the playoffs. Dude couldn’t handle the Indiana crowd changing FLOPPER during Brunson’s free throws. “It isn’t true! And it doesn’t matter!!”
That kind of stuff used to bother me. Then I started turning the volume down to the perfect level, where I couldn't hear the announcers but still got enough of the crowd and even the refs.

Imagine what it must have been like for non-Celtics fans who had to hear Johnny Most during their 11 of 13 run? That could not have been easy.

I think the Pacers are going to beat the Thunder
Wow. That's a bold take, bruh
I don't see it but a Thunder/Pacers series will be fun to watch. Usually if the C's aren't involved I don't watch much.
But I like the playing styles if both these teams.
I do think Indy will win a few games as their defense has improved.
But I think OKC just has too much.
A C's/OKC Finals if the C's were at full strength- no JB knee injury and a healthy KP plus Tatum- would have been a dynamite series. C's in 6 or 7

Okc is a great team. They very well may win. They’re going to be an overwhelming favorite, like 1-5 to win the series. I just love the way the Pacers are playing, and I think they’re going to find a way.

ooooo, that's bold. But not crazy. Seems like it's all about pace. Slow grinding game favors OKC and fast favors Pacers. who can dictate that?
That reminds me of the Celts/Lakers matchups in the 80's.

Game tonight may as well be Lakers-Kings 2002.

Kevin Harlan crying that the NBA should change the rules because of Hack A Mitch.

Now Halliburton is refusing to shoot. He has had openings. I guess we don't put him in the hall of fame just yet.

Yeah, weird game by him. Seems like they decided early on they would just look at game 6, which is usually a mistake

I don’t know the Pacers were trying to do but there was way too much Mathurin and Toppin. Their starters only attempted 39 shots. Knicks starters had 72. Pacers have depth but it was like they voluntarily put their bench against the Knicks starting 5 last night.

I caught myself yelling "shoot the f'n ball." kinda funny cuz I really don't care about the pacers, but it was annoying to watch.

The immortal Thomas Bryant may get the Pacers to the finals!
