However stranger things have happened. I know JM is doing a masterful job with management of the players health as the NBA is long rigorous season. If they do make it back to the finals they will have a tough road becuase they won't have home advantage though the play offs..Butler
Cleveland has scorers at every level.. they have 2 guys down low that could easily be DPOY. Even when we do best them Donovan goes off on us. OKC hasn't even had one of thier best players and they have been on a roll. I Don't trust KPs health.. at 30 and injuries piling up I'll say this again.. look into getting vuvjic in Chicago. We lost to Sacramento with thier best player out.. we been getting beat at home. Championship teams always protect home court.Everyone is healthy. That’s basically all that matters as we already know what we have with these players. The only issue I see the highly imbalanced NBA that has a lot of really good teams which would all be championship favorites in past years.
OKC is really tough and are now the Vegas favorites. Cleveland is good but we would beat them if we’re healthy.
Don't forget JB, jrue, white, Tatum played deep into June NBA finals and in the Olympics. That wears on players no matter who you are during a NBA season. We'll see. The starting five have not been together. They'll get to the Finals at a minimum.
Yep. I think there’s a few things going on, and that’s definitely one of them.Don't forget JB, jrue, white, Tatum played deep into June NBA finals and in the Olympics. That wears on players no matter who you are during a NBA season.
I agree there. I think the team wants to get another championship before wyc sells completely. I've mentioned Jacob poetlh in Toronto. A skilled big man that I'd a rebounding machine and can give you 15 and 10 each night. I absolutely love KP.. but heading into next season we are going to have to make a determination. A 30 year old oft injured big man.. I'd also like the idea of going after Vajavic in Chicago. Cleveland is only going to get better..Yep. I think there’s a few things going on, and that’s definitely one of them.
They’ll roll with what they have this season, and I’m confident with how they’ll do if they’re healthy. Brad will tweak next year’s team
One of the biggest things is adapting to KP in the lineup.Yep. I think there’s a few things going on, and that’s definitely one of them.

I agree with you and your right. But Brad is always going to look to tweak and add to the roster that's what good GMs do.. doesn't have to be anything drastic.. adding wing depth or big man depth never hurts. As you said you have to take into play KPs availability. I don't have any faith he will make it to April healthy. We are veteran team..One of the biggest things is adapting to KP in the lineup.
They haven't done that yet.
They're better with him but their offense is different with him in there. Plays develop slower and more of guys just standing around. They will adapt. They did it before. What they need is KP to stay healthy enough to be a regular in the lineup so they can figure out how to mesh. He hasn't played that much.
To me, this is the biggest thing, not adding anyone else. Of course, no guarantee KP will be mostly healthy.
Yeah I’m not disagreeing with you but what month is it? In a few months you’ll most likely have a handful of different pros and cons for the Cs. They’re playing poorly right now, but this type of valley is completely normal unless you’re in the midst of a historical outlier like last year’s team, as well as the pace of the Thunder and Cavs, whose level of play is abnormally high and consistent and is making the Celtics recent struggled look even worse by comparison. We’ll see if those teams paces are sustainable. It’s a marathon…Cleveland has scorers at every level.. they have 2 guys down low that could easily be DPOY. Oh absolutely I understand. These months are used for play off position. You want to try to stay in a good position for hom court. I understand it's definitely a marathon like you mentioned. It's the young, fast energetic guys that the Cs have issues with.Yeah I’m not disagreeing with you but what month is it? Celtics being in second apron makes signings and trades extremely difficult.
Agreed. I also think it’s just human nature that with Cleveland having a historic regular season the Celtics know they’re not gonna be the number one seed and they are somewhat affected by that. One of the biggest things is adapting to KP in the lineup.

I have the same feelings. I've expressed that while they are still a force to be reckoned with.. I don't see the same fluidity on offense as last season I Chuck it up to being a year older.. Cs are not a young team.. KP is 30, Al is 37, white is 29, jrue is 34..I still can't shake the feeling something is off with the team. Generally brining everyone back doesn't work, ie you need some new fresh blood.
Guess we will find out in May, but just a feeling I have. I hope I am wrong.
Another nail bitter... had Ingram played we loose by 10 last night.Wow almost a disastrous loss!
You’d think but it feels like we struggle as much if not more with undermanned teams than those with their top players healthy.Another nail bitter... had Ingram played we loose by 10 last night.
Your right. I believe it's a mindset going into the game . "Oh these guys are out, yeah we should roll"You’d think but it feels like we struggle as much if not more with undermanned teams than those with their top players healthy.
Cs don't look like a championship team right now. They are losing to inferior opponents.. teams like Toronto and Orlando with size give them issues. I don't see any defensive intensity.Agreed. Not looking to add anyone this year, but there is some age on the team that I’m sure Brad is watching
