Cs just played 5 games in 9 days. Not a surprise they got beat last night, and just barely. Zero concerns about the Grizzlies going froward. None at all.

I'm actually more concerned with the Bucks win than the Grizzlies loss. I have no idea how they beat the Bucs with the bricks they were throwing up there. They just kept heaving threes and clanging away. If you have to give them any credit, this Bucks win shows that their defense can win when they put in the effort.

Their defense really fuels everything.
All 5 starters are stud defenders.
DWhite, Jrue, JB and JT are ALL 1st team NBA Defensive team quality.
Brown really stepped up.his D last year and he's very close to White and Holiday as a top defender.
But the best defensive player on the team? It's been White.
But now I believe it's Tatum. No, White has not lost anything. But Tatum, who was already good, has become elite thus year. He can guard so many different positions at an elite level, it's just amazing.
Like Ive said before, if they stay healthy, nobody is stopping the C's from hoisting #19. Knock on wood. ( for health)
KP's effect on D also can't be understated: when he plays C's are among top rim defenders in the league.

C's ball movement really is incredible.
Best it's ever been with this squad.
I know its the Wiz but the Green has been great at it all year.
JT and JB have become 2 of the best players in the league- and I give DWhite and Jrue a lot of the credit for that.
They were role models for JT and JB on how you win Championships- play better defense and be more unselfish.
But it also goes the other way- they could become more unselfish on offense because DWhite and Jrue both proved they were elite offensive players as well as defensive and could be trusted to take big shots.
And Pritchard has made this team even better. Nobody mentions his height anymore on defense. He's just a good defender. Offensively? Kid is just a stud.
Shooting, passing , ballhandling,scoring from anywhere on the floor against anyone, including the paint.
Win another title this year and this squad passes the Truth,KG,Allen squads and is very close to the Bird,McHale, Chief squads. Also puts em maybe ahead of the Cowens,Jojo,Silas,Hondo etc teams.
I got major respect for these guys and that wasn't always the case.

KP is unreliable. I doubt resting him will somehow allow him to be able to stay on the floor for the entirety of the playoffs. He entered last year's playoffs healthy and still only managed to play in 7 of the Celtics 19 playoff games.

Am I the only one who thinks Tillman looks slow as molasses? He might be better off on the Patriots rather than the Celtics. He's got the body of a TE.

That fails to acknowledge that they won it all last year with KP sitting in street clothes for 12 of their 19 playoff games. They might be better with him, but they are far from bad without him.

Yeah well they did it again tonight. Yeah I get it, no Tatum but this team is starting to smell like they don't have it in them this year. Something is missing.
