Can’t wait to spend months talking about Jacoby Brissett and Drake Maye’s role the upcoming season for a boring, bottom barrel team. Thrilling.

Better than having somebody who doesn’t have to be here grumbling about what’s being talked about on here.

The role players for the Mavs have to continue to play well both offensively AND defensively. That was the key to their run - they've played defense well above their season averages against two very good offensive teams in OKC and Minny.

The Cs should continue to attack mismatches (Holiday and White can feast against Irving) relentlessly, and KP pull Lively away from the basket.

Their bench players are all young kids. 23, 21 & 20 and Hardaaay has got the yips. All have talent but they’re still green. This is where if Hauser (and PP, Big Al) shoots his regular 40%+ from 3 this series could be won convincingly.

So excited for this game. Even though I’ve been a Cs fan my whole life, I don’t think I’ve been this pumped before. Loved the Big 3 but in strange way it almost seemed like some great players happened to be wearing our uniforms. 2 years I ago I was certain we’d lose to the Warriors. Have a good feeling about it this time.

I was too young to be a fan during the Bird championship years. My first favorite player was Reggie Lewis.

I think the Celtics are going to shut down Kyrie and force the Mavs to play uncomfortable.

IMO it’s Luka they shutdown to a degree and let Kyrie do whatever he wants. IMO Kyrie will have mental issues in Boston and struggle with a limited Luka.

We'll see. A fully healthy Porzingis is an elusive commodity. You could be right about him starting, but I would be willing to bet they have a minutes cap for him, at least to start off the series. Horford is more than capable of filling the void.

Unless things are going very poorly for Boston I would expect Porzingis to play 20-25 minutes in Game 1. It will become evident very early if he is 100% or not.

Porzingis not starting, no restrictions.

Jesus, Porzingis was absolutely spectacular in that quarter. That final block was legendary.

My favorite 3 was Hauser. He showed no hesitation and buried it.

That quarter is just about as well as this team can play. I expect things to settle down a bit, but right now it doesn't look like Dallas is ready for the moment.
