Celtics 2023 - 2024 Discussion

I know this is unnecessarily dramatic, but imho this is a must win. If they lose this, then I just don't see their winning it all in the end, assuming they make it that far. I know they're shorthanded with KP out, but still...

Murray is healthy. Nuggets will advance.
With a healthy Murray, Denver is the better team.
Remains to be seen if he ?stays healthy, but if so, its a C's/ Nuggets Final which is what we always thought anyway.

They need to close this out asap. Primary reason is Horford. They're playing him 40 mins a game! He usually is around 25.
Playing with fire that we could lose him to injury. You can see he's gassed.
It affected the quality of his play on both offense and defense.
Cmon dudes, give the old guy some rest!!! And get the **** off my lawn!!

Possibly no Donovan Mitchell. If that’s the case they should blow doors, no more let downs.

Should JB look into a sports therapist about those free throws? Teams are gonna start implementing hack-a-Jaylen

He's not a pure shooter, he's a scorer.
Guys like that often are poor free throws shooters. It's OK, he brings enough to the table it's not a huge deal.

Horford looks bad. White is on a milk carton so far. We need him to step up.

Jrue was phenomenal. Once again Tatum and Brown played hard and delivered. Nice dagger from JB!

No you just like to trash Mazzulla every chance you get. It's tiresome. He's a solid coach. Young, still learning but has done a decent job overall.
Tell me how you would have used Big Al differently.
He's been doing well so far in the playoffs, especially this series. He is in a bind with Horford but managed the minutes much better tonight. Al only played 28 minutes that's not shouldn't be a big deal.

Mazzula has been great with the timeouts, calling them at all the right times. He isn't fixating on the team launching threes. One of my main concerns was his stubbornness but perhaps he is learning and growing as a coach.

Horford played 28 minutes tonight. Not so hard.

And I haven't really trashed Mazzulla much at all lately, I think he's improved in a number of areas. Including tonight, he was playing Horford too many minutes and he corrected that. Of course he had a choice.

Yea Maz has to play Al a decent amount. Just by being a threat, he stretches the D and provides spacing for everyone else.

Didn't shoot well last night but they won.
