What do base good game upon?JB had a good game but I agree the FTs are worse than I've ever seen them. It's in his head which is weird because otherwise he is a confident player. There will be some key ones we need from him in big spots.
At any rate its really nice to put the Heat in the rear view mirror, empathically. They've been a royal pain in the ass for us for years.
I’ve never you base it on anything except point total and shot attempts.
Tatum is playing fine. His shots aren’t dropping. His plus-minus this series was still ludicrously good because he played mostly efficient basketball against the Heat zone.
Brown was 11-19 for 25 points so I guess that’s good. Except he was 1-7 on 3s, 2-5 at the line, and had five turnovers. Surely you understand that this is the equivalent of 25 points on 27 attempts, which is dogshit.
White, on the other hand, also had 25 points. On 13 attempts and 1 turnover, 5 fts. Or the equivalent of 25 points on 17 attempts.
Brown had 16 turnovers and 11 assists this series. Tatum had 9 turnovers and 27 assists.
You put way too much stock in field goal pct and point total which even out over time.
Tatum had a fantastic series giving what the defense gave him. Brown is such an overall liability of a player to put up those splits with the supporting cast he has and going against the Heat JV team. He has no game adaptability. It’s always the same no matter the opponent.
