Cmon, man, Brown is not close to being a top 10 player. That's ridiculous. Thanks for the stat line. I appreciate your research. White benefits from the Js.. if they aren't on the court he doesn't get those favorable match ups.. so again I hold firm on what myself and most NBA people oh and Wyc seems to like brown so much he gave him a max contract.
If what you say about my man D White is true let's see if he gets a max deal. He's a good player, playing with 2 of the best perimeter players in the game. Brown needs to work on his free throws more but is a top 10 player in the game.
I'm not man.. your over rating D White, and underating Brown.. put some respect on his name man.. guy brings it.. he was a raw product when he came into the league he's been a 20 plus ppg guy last few seasons..Cmon, man, Brown is not close to being a top 10 player. That's ridiculous.
I like Brown but you are way overrating his ability.
Most nba guys would agree with me.I'm not man.. your over rating D White, and underating Brown.. put some respect on his name man.. guy brings it.. he was a raw product when he came into the league he's been a 20 plus ppg guy last few seasons..
The buck starts with the Js.. like Brown white worked on his game, and became a better player under the celtics staff and how they developed him. We can agree that both do bring excellent value to the team. JB is a complete player and really like the way he plays the game. Not comparing JB to MJ at the least but wasn't he a physical specimen? LeBron? Olajuwon? And many others . Owners show you how much you mean to the organ by how they compensate you. If D White gets a max deal then it will show how he's valued. Currently he's the 3rd best player on the team. Most nba guys would agree with me.
Being a physical specimen has nothing to do with being a great baller.
Vast majority of alltime nba greats including right now, were/are not physical specimens.
Anyway, White and Brown both bring value to the team which is what I care about. They have different strengths/weaknesses. White brings a bit more value and has far fewer weaknesses than JB.
We disagree
I will say this: JB did work hard to improve and he's having the best season of his career. The buck starts with the Js.. like Brown white worked on his game, and became a better player under the celtics staff and how they developed him. Agreed! Excellent points. However Anthony Edwards says hello to you.. he said he thinks he's pretty muscular lol.. quickness, durability and knowing how pace yourself to pro long your career. Fans don't realize for athletes is a year round full time job to keep themselves in shape and available for the season. It's not like in the 70s and 80s smoking in locker rooms, alcohol ect. LeBron invest Over a million a year on his body and is why he played 20 seasons remarkable. Self investment is the best thing athletes can do to have fruitful careers. Look at the kid in NOs he cam into the league at 19 and has never ever played full season yet. His career will be over by the time he's 30. If he had played the pelicans could challenged OKC. But your absolutely correct great post!I will say this: JB did work hard to improve and he's having the best season of his career.
MJ was as skinny as Tyquan Thornton his 1st few years. But was still a great player. He added a little muscle and became even greater. But he's more the exception than the rule.
Olajuwon was not really muscular guy but a great athlete. Karl Malone and LeBron are about the only 2 alltime greats that look like bodybuilders.
Magic Johnson was better than both of them and had a pretty ordinary build. Wasn't super fast, couldn't jump out of the building but he was one of the 3 greatest to ever play
Same with Bird. George Gervin and Kevin Durant 2 of the very greatest offensive players were not duper athletes. Steph Curry. I would go on and on.
Jokic is hands-down the best player on the planet right now- would you call him chiseled?
SGA is the best guard in the nba and prolly a top 5 player- not a really muscular dude.
The best athletic trait an nba guy can have is quickness. It's a game of quickness and skill. And these guys are the best athletes in team sports.
Unlike the nfl, where there's a bunch of fatties.
As expected he's expected to miss time. So it's Luke kornert, and ketah along with Al..Anybody else holding their breath this afternoon waiting to hear about Porzingis?
Sounds like it's the same thing that's keeping Giannis out, the question is the severity of it I supposeAs expected he's expected to miss time. So it's Luke kornert, and ketah along with Al..
Agreed. It's going to be a tall task to win in the finals against Minnesota because honestly I'm convinced Minnesota is going to beat Denver in the WCF.. but if we can win tomorrow and get some rest hopefully he can return for the ECF.Sounds like it's the same thing that's keeping Giannis out, the question is the severity of it I suppose
I don't think they win a title without him, but they might be able to get to the finals
Also people act like Derrick White is just some community college guy with grit and hustle. He is one of the quickest players in the NBA. That burst to take away any driving lanes, the ridiculous acceleration speed to be the leading blocker in the league among guards. The court vision. Most nba guys would agree with me.

I don't think C's can beat either Denver or Minny w/o KP.Agreed. It's going to be a tall task to win in the finals against Minnesota because honestly I'm convinced Minnesota is going to beat Denver in the WCF.. but if we can win tomorrow and get some rest hopefully he can return for the ECF.

We need all hands on deck. All 5 starters.
Hopefully he's back for at least the Finals- but a little scary since it's same injury Giannis is dealing with and he's ?still out. Fingers crossed
Did u really just compare cancer to a strain or calf injury.. WOW..It is the same injury but there are different grades to the injury. A grade 1 is not the same as a grade 3, but the name of the injury is the same.
Stage 1 colon cancer is almost 100% curable while Stage 4 is almost incurable. But they are both colon cancer.
Here's what I believe, of course Muzzulla knows more basketball than I could ever learn as far as Xs and Os.. but we need to become more of a slashing team to the basket, make the defense collapse and kick out to open shooters.. because with Out big P.. teams are going to sag on us and force us to take jump shots.. some nights were are on and some we are off..I don't think C's can beat either Denver or Minny w/o KP.
