Celtics 2023 - 2024 Discussion

When we lose in the finals? Your glass is half empty? C'mon dude, be a fan, love the team, and cheer for them to win it all
Be a fan? Lol man u must not know my name. Of course I want my team to win it all. There's not a more optimistic fan on here. I'm just pointing out what I think we could use on the perimeter.. that's all my man!

That's a terrible trade.
DWhite is easily the 2nd best player on the C's.
McDaniels is a good player but he is nowhere close to White.
2nd best player?? J brown says what's up! Lol

No. White is a better player than Brown in almost every category.
I like Brown, very good player but White is the superior player.
Better defensively, better ballhandler, passer, shooter, better decision-maker.
I'm glad we have both.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! Brown is the 2nd best player on the team.. a guy who's the best overall athlete on the team, one of the best 2 way players in the league.. no, no and no again. D White I love but Is the 3rd best player on the team.. Brown brings it.. white is a solid ball handler he's smaller at 6"2.. Brown is 6'7 a physical specimen. Over powers defenders in the paint.... white is no where superior to brown in no way shape, or form. White is a great player taking nothing from him but he ain't on the Js level.

Not taking a side here as I think Brown & White are both great at what they do but I do want to point out that White is 6' 4", not 6' 2".

Porzingas' injury history has worried me all season. They need him to go all the way this year. The fact that he was having problems two plays before he limped off, leads me to believe that this is a bigger problem than just a simple strain. His injuries are why so many teams have given up on him over the years and it's why I'm glad the Celtics only gave him a two year contract.

I'd love to know how there were no foul calls on Derrick White's jams in the 3rd period. Both were obvious fouls but these refs just don't call them.

@jimnance we are just having a little fun. He knows it's just all in fun. Your correct white is 6'4 a former first round pick for SA, another excellent move by Stevens. I absolutely love D white great player, but J. Brown is on another level athleticism, his paint presence, Brown is another player that got better each season since he's been in the league. Just my fan assessment.

Agreed this was the knock on him his entire career injuries. He is a great player, just needs to stay on the field more. If he's not able to go Wednesday guys will have to step up.. we need to get this series over with and get some time for guys to rest and heal. Yeah the refereeing has always been inconsistent in the NBA.

These announcers were idiots when they were talking about Adabayo's BS move on Tatum. Tatum taking a meaningless jumper after the whistle does not give Adabayo the right to foul him. I don't know what the hell these announcers were going on about. They were clearly favoring the Heat throughout the game so I shouldn't have been surprised.

Got it…Brown is better because he takes more shots and is a better iso player even though he’s worse in every other aspect of the game.

I would argue DWhite > Brown except it seems silly. Porzingis and Holiday are also > Brown.

Brown is basically good if you’re playing NBA Jam. Outside his athleticism which leads to some impressive 2 pointers, there’s nothing there.

White not superior to Brown except large advantages in on ball defense, off ball defense, passing, three point shooting, and free throw shooting.

Thanks for the stat line. I appreciate your research. White benefits from the Js.. if they aren't on the court he doesn't get those favorable match ups.. so again I hold firm on what myself and most NBA people oh and Wyc seems to like brown so much he gave him a max contract.

If what you say about my man D White is true let's see if he gets a max deal. He's a good player, playing with 2 of the best perimeter players in the game. Brown needs to work on his free throws more but is a top 10 player in the game.
