Cassius Marsh still complaining about his time in New England

Top 5 Pats I couldn’t stand to see on the field in no order:

John Simon. You guys are underestimating how much of a liability he was on the field.

Chris Carter. He was the main reason why the secondary was so bad in 1999. He was getting torched over the top repeatedly. I’ll always remember Pete Carroll hyping him up during training camp to have fans forget about fan favorite Willie Clay not being re-signed. Just one of the dominoes that fell in Pete’s demise.

Dan Kleko. No explanation is needed.

Jordan Richards. No explanation is needed.

Eric Rowe. He was a big-time liability during the 2017 season and it caught up to them in the Super Bowl.

Honorable mentions:

Steve Martin. I’ll never forget him jogging after a play down field where he gave no effort. Was a terrible player and apparently a bad guy in the locker room.

Chris Canty. Luckily he didn’t play much because they had two good outside corners and they didn’t face many teams that featured slot receivers. I believe Hitchcock was the main slot guy until he left in 1988 and then Whigam took over.

The midget brothers from the awful 2008 draft. This was when Bill had a weird fetish with “quick twitch” players. They were both disasters.

X Pats who complain about their time here are SOOOOOOOOO rare that comments by such a failed player (around the league) shouldn't be worthy of a thread let alone a comment.
Yet here you are.

And he was cut loose before 2001 in order to protect Jones... Didn't want first round pick tebucky feeling the pressure from much loved Whigham
I really don’t think Whigham was a threat as he was much better suited a a special teams ace/nickel/dime guy. He was an aging vet by that time who I think was asking for too much money.

I find it hard to believe that Bill would protect a guy that he didn’t draft and was a borderline bust.

My top 5 most hated former Patriots? These guys come to mind, in no particular order and for different reasons

@$$ante
Tuna
Fat Albert
Jordan Richards
Eric the Rat
No murderer?

Post in thread 'June 23 in Pats History: Matt Light and Larry Whigham' June 23 in Pats History: Matt Light and Larry Whigham

That is really bizarre and I still find it hard to believe.

And he was not as old as I thought he was but he only played two more seasons.
That's ok... I still hate the bastard regardless lol

I just think it goes against what Bill stands for. Releasing a guy so the other guy doesn’t have the need to compete?

At least Jones put together his best season in 2001. And it’s odd that he left after the season so why would Bill protect him so much?

It was a shame Whigham left as he was a fan favorite.

Adalius Thomas was very disappointing.

In what way? He was outstanding in 2007 and could’ve argued him being the Super Bowl MVP had they won the game. He was a pass rushing terror in 2008 before his broken arm. Apparently, in 2009, he did not like what Bill wanted him to do anymore and checked out.

James Ferentz and Jordan Devey are the 2 players that I felt absolutely no confidence in on the field.
