Cassius Marsh still complaining about his time in New England

This goober does bring up a good question. Who are your top 5 most hated former Patriots?

This just in: Patriots allege that Marsh played like crap.

My most hated in no particular order:

Aaron Hernandez
Dave Meggett
Terry Glenn
Chris Canty
Eric Mangini

Anonymous sources have told me that Marsh was more interested in having fun rather than playing Championship Football..

The "guy" said Marsh liked the lunches better in Seattle and the joking around that occurred during team meetings.. Pete Carroll was a lot of "fun" to be around...

It’s amazing how BB’s somewhat old school style meshes so well with a vast majority of today’s athletes. This story could easily be about « almost everyone in the last two decades have loved it here ».

BB won’t throw you under the bus in front of media, he won’t badmouth you when you get released / traded. If you excel, he will give you glowing praise when you retire. He won’t take credit for the winning and always thank the player as he accepts the trophy in February.

When you’re in a one-year-prove-it, you can come to NE and play hard. Other teams overvalue you & you can cash in big.

There are very few players who’ve left in the last 20 years with these type of gripes. And there are only a handful of players I thought « I wish he’d been retained / this is one that got away ».

Ike "The Crab" Forte
Called him that because his typical run was a crablike sideways scuttle to the sideline running out of bounds to avoid contact.
May be harsh because if there was a huge open hole he would attempt to run forward.

Who gives crap what this JAG says. His comments about a true legend of the game wiil turn of most current and future NFL employers.
Nic job JAG

It's interesting seeing everyone's different interpretations of their "Top 5 Hated Patriots" lists. It seems people either think of it as players whose character makes them unlikeable (to put it mildly, as there are people like Hernandez on that list), or they're simply listing players they thought sucked.

How many players have come through here during Bill's tenure? It's likely in the thousands. And yet, we've heard very few of these types of things about the organization. It's just a few idiots here and there who couldn't get with the program. And this guy Marsh was terrible.

Marsh does happen to check both boxes, interestingly enough.

In what way? He was outstanding in 2007 and could’ve argued him being the Super Bowl MVP had they won the game. He was a pass rushing terror in 2008 before his broken arm. Apparently, in 2009, he did not like what Bill wanted him to do anymore and checked out.
Well he didn’t impact the Defense the way he was touted to.
He was one of the highest priced free agents Bill has ever signed.
Ray Lewis said as soon as he was signed that boy doesn’t like to work now that he got his money he will take it easy.
There were all kind of reports that he wasn’t putting in the work in the gym as well as in the playbook. He was just ok, vs what the hype was surrounding him.
Roosevelt Colvin was a much better signing before him and yes he was also injured but he played hard worked hard and embodied the Patriot way a lot better than AT.
