This is a test to see if I can delete my own thread.

It looks to me like, contrary to what I thought I remembered, one can't delete the threads one starts.

What one can do, however, is change the title, to something like "Duplicate thread -- mods please delete". That can be done via Thread Tools in the upper right above the content of the original post.

I've done it.

I can't see how to change the title either.

As per my OP, find "Thread Tools". It's in the upper right and has a down arrow by it (to signify a drop-down menu, one of whose options is to edit the title).

Obviously, that option depends on it being a thread that you started.

I believe you can even with responses.

Sometimes things sound good at one moment, and dumb at another.

The "button" to delete a post is right next to the one to edit it.

I could be mistaken, but I believe that those that are a "PatsFans.com Supporter" (see the red banner below the user name, such as ctpatsfan77 has) have more editing capabilities than others do. That would include the ability to delete their own threads.
