Can this team beat Donkey at Denver?

It's difficult to play there partly due to altitude. I wonder if they got there a WEEK EARLY would it help? Would donning one of those sleeping breathing apparatus things that mimic high altitude help?

We're getting way ahead of ourselves, but I like the Pats chances in Denver if it's very cold with snow or sleet in the air; remember how Peyton's arm weakened and his control deteriorated during the loss to Baltimore two years ago on a bitter, cold day. Last year, the AFCCG was played on a relatively balmy day for Denver in January.

But, as I said above, we're getting ahead of ourselves. Let's just get "on to San Diego."

I could care less where they play, but I remember the Pats being a better run defense than they are now and overall that would be my biggest concern not where they play.

Care to explain?

If Gronk is healthy, without a doubt. Denver does not match up well.

Not really but ok...Well it sure seems like lately they are giving up more than 100 yds a game...avg 110 ranked 14th, just seems like the last 5 years or so they were better. Thats all. Maybe it is perception just seems that way.

Denver is running well, that would be my only concern about the Pats going into Denver.

Other things, altitude, some folks it bothers others it doesn't, Ive never had it affect me even when I didn't live here. Some folks it takes a few days to get used to others weeks, some folks dont feel affects for days others do right away.

Weather, your guess is as good as anyone, January can bring 60's or -10's.

Looking at this forum you'd think that we lost by 30 points to the raiders or something. Not by 5 points to one of the best teams in the league in their home. I think the Packers are a harder matchup for us than the Broncos because of Rodgers scrambling ability. So yeah if we can play so close to the Packers then I think we can take the Broncos.

Denver was running well when NE shut them down earlier. They are doing better right now largely because Thomas' absence created room for their run blocking TE. We'll see how they do when Julius comes back.

NE's run D has actually been good to very good for the past month or so. As much as people talk about Lacy, he had one good drive and was shut down the rest of the way.

We won't beat Denver in mile high. Been a sore spot for us for years

The question is are they running well because they fixed their running game or was their competition just bad? They ran all over Miami two weeks ago, but so did the Jets on Monday night. They ran all over the Chiefs on Sunday, but so did the Raiders the week before and the Raiders have one of the worst running games in the league.

This week will be a good test for their running game because the Bills have a big d-line and are good vs. the run.

Granted it is supposed to be mild and not windy in Denver. So Manning will probably air out the ball this weekend.

.

They had a few decent games before they played NE but prior to that first four games it wasn't so good, the resurgence of their running game has a lot to do with Virgil Green, excellent blocker and decent TE. They **** the bed against the Rams only because they didnt try. But up until CJ started running everyone here was talking about the so so running game. lets see if they stay committed to running because PM might get mad if he cant break some more records.
