I don't follow college at all, so a lot of the college drama + schemes get lost on me, but I read up a bit about cam fleming and stanford for whatever reason last year, maybe just 'cuz stanford O was interesting, and we did some of that extra lineman stuff against minny.

so, maybe this was a storyline that I was oblivious to in week 11 last year, but I just pieced it together --- cam fleming was pep hamilton's guy for a couple years at stanford, and isn't that pep hamilton's offense we used cam in to steamroll the colts, where cam got half the snaps as extra lineman/te?

was that just taking advantage of colts d, or was that next level trolling?

Do you really think Bill Belichick would put a gameplan in to show up a coach? Or, just maybe the most optimal one to win the game? Based on his track record. Isn't it pretty obvious he does what optimizes his chances to win? You're reaching.

cameron fleming was used in that role many times last year, not just the AFCCG, which turned out to be a preseason game for NE.

Not sure about Fleming but the coaches had a play designed for Solder for a score in the afccg. Perhaps in response to the colts' one (castonzo) in the regular season? Sneaky indeed.

See: Childress, Brad.

Are you talking about the MNF game in 06? We threw every time because they had a great run defense and crappy pass defense. That's the one where Childress said the Vikes weren't prepared for that.

Lol they weren't prepared for the fwd pass

Why not both?

it looked like they used the same plan the last 3 times we played the colts.

Run down their throats, and watch as they defense quits trying to tackle in the second quarter leading to a running backs scoring 4+ touchdowns.

I rewatched that game recently and it was a beauty.

Fleming, Devlin, and Gronk took turns leading Blount into the second level with awesome blocks that day.

Indy did not get bigger/meaner up front in the offseason. So in game 5, do they go with 8/9 in the box? I want Tom to pass the Norm Van Brocklin record (554 yards) if they do.
