Oh, I expect James to do his job as well as he has to date (which is quite good), I just worry that he will be overmatched against Antonio Gates. My preference would be to start Chad Scott at SS and put the six foot CB/FS athlete on the athletic TE.

Here's where I wish we had Tebucky Jones healthy. Would've loved to have him just blanket the TE.

Russ Francis repeated this story this AM on his radio show. (890 AM)

Earlier this week a caller phoned into Holley at eei asking Holley if he knew anything about this.

Holley, who is writing a book with Tedy, said this was the first he had heard of it and has not heard this from his interactions with Bruschi.

If Tedy is retiring, what is out there on the FA pool when could plat ILB who we could sign?

London Flethcher, but he's on most peoples must sign list anyway.

Do we have enough money to sign Lance Briggs, Adalious Thomas and London Fletcher?

That would solve some of our defensive depth problems. Then, after Asante signs elsewhere for a ridiculously large sum, we can sign Nate Clements too.
