It's not really a 'disagreement' lol. He's saying it is unlikely you'll get 3 goals in ten minutes and that's true, it is. You are however more likely to get them with an extra skater than without. He also acknowledges the only people who may be against making the attempt are the ones whose stats might be impacted. That may be true to a small extent during the season but in the playoffs only a pink hat worries about stats. Many players might have small cause to sweat their +/- in the regular season, it can matter at contract time after all. OTOH no one gives a rat's ass about +/- in the playoffs, it's all about the W's.

Boston's D more than held up against FL's forecheck. Bruins transitioned well and won the battle of the boards, that and stellar goaltending made for the winning formula.
Bobrovsky looked fairly pedestrian, that's gotta concern FL a bit. That's 5 losses to the B's in a row for the Panthers

I agree, I thought they did a good job getting the puck out of their own end when the Panthers were putting pressure on them.

Florida is simply waiting against the boards for the inevitable clearing up the boards. It's as if Boston absolutely fears turnovers up the middle and is willing to sacrifice possession....which they are.

Florida is simply waiting against the boards for the inevitable clearing up the boards. It's as if Boston absolutely fears turnovers up the middle and is willing to sacrifice possession....which they are.

Everything that went into winning Game 1 for Boston deserted them last night. FL's forecheck overwhelmed the Bruins D, they lost on the boards and outside of the 1st period they couldn't get the transition game going. Wotherspoon and Forbort were not on the same page at all, that was a tough pairing to watch to say the least. Weak ass move by Tkachuk inviting Pasta to go, the dude is 6 years removed from his only pro fight. It says good things about Pasta's compete level and probably made a worthwile statement to his teammates but it's not the kind of chance you want to see him taking.

If I didn't despise Tkachuck so much, I would love him.

Didn't expect the B's to sweep the Florida hockey team, so 1-1 after two is fine. The Swayman wave crashed, maybe Ulmark will catch a hot streak. I kinda had been looking forward to a goalie rotation when the playoffs started, but we'll see what Monty does going forward. Love this series and the rivalry that is building. Can't wait for Friday night.
