Bruins 2024-2025

How the hell do they blow a three goal lead at home?
Especially how good they looked/played for a large portion of the game. I just don't understand how a team can shut off their focus and intensity so quickly.

Despite blowing the lead they still had a great chance or two to win in OT and couldn't bury their chances. Just like against Anaheim. They are not mentally tough.

Mentally soft as poop.

Played a damn good game tonight, lost anyway.
The only plus we can take away from this nightmare season is the progress of Lohrei. He was far and away the best Bruin not named Brad Marchand out there tonight.

You have more tolerance for them than I do. I skipped ahead after the first goal by NYI on just their second shot. That was freakin' bullsiht!
I thought Zadorov played well too, but I did skip a huge chunk of the game. I feel that if Zadorov can continue to not always piss me off, that it will be a good thing going into next year. LOL

I have noticed it all season. He is by far the best skater and stick handler on the defense and it is noticeable when he is on the ice.

Sorokin had their number last night.

Swayman has sucked all season imo and that first goal was bad. I expect him to make that save but. I think Zadorov has improved no doubt and maybe getting comfortable with the rest of the guys. I still think he could play more physical, but all in all he has been a good addition.

the issue with this team is we have too many players that are 3rd line guys, but when you have mismanaged your roster construction and don't have any $$$, then that is what you get

I agree. at one point in the 3rd, they were just blasting away with shot after shot and he was unfazed. He was really good

Zadorov takes an insane amount of penalties. With the team missing its top two D-men he needs to show more discipline and keep his ass outta the sin bin.

Real bummer to lose all of the last three games. I thought at a minimum they would get 4 points. Instead, they got 2 points. The effort looked good against Toronto for a very large part of the game and the NYI game (based on @maust opinion) was a great effort, but they just don't have the "it" factor going for them. Do they have anyone in Providence that is going to be a stud soon? Where will the help come from next year?

How the hell do they blow a three goal lead at home?

Part of that is due to the tired legs of the top two lines from having to man both PP units AND BOTH PK units.

pretty good return if you ask me

Can only wish Freddy well. Loved the fire in his game but he had definitely plateaued here and needed a change of scenery

Are you kidding me? Zadorov's stick breaks with 18 seconds left! What a crazy season.

The stick may have broken but the fail was just as big in Zafarov's decision making that was an ill advised pass attempt by any measure.
