We just cant match up against the Panthers yet but its early (obviously)Florida came out strong but 3 of those 1st period goals were stoppable with nothing more than solid fundamentals.
Ottawa flat out broke Korpisalo, I hope the road back isn't a struggle but that looked terrible

Looking at the off season moves it appears they were made with more than half an eye looking towards FL. There was a concerted effort to get bigger.
Too bad there wasn’t a more-concerted effort to get Better.
@maust That was a little better last night.
Yeah.
An odd first two games.
They lose 6-4 and it wasn't that close.

I missed this energy last night for sure. Sad when fun things end.
Yeah, Florida is fekkin' good. I am over it. It's like the relationship between the hammer and nail. The nail knows what's coming but can't do **** about it.just cant hang with Florida. They own us, even without a couple of top guys. The Bruins are not in sync yet and still working in new players. I will say for as much as i like Poitras, the kid is not NHL strong by any means and is getting pushed around. I never liked the Hampus Lindholm acquisition and still don't. He is not physical and turns the puck over way too many times. I just don't like his game. Hopefully we get it together soon but losing to the Panthers is getting real old

oh Lindholm, it might just be me. When we signed him, everyone (media, fans, people who are smart) all loved the move...but i just don't see it. I also think Carlo plays small too. Again, maybe it just me.You make a valid point. The team we are seeing now needs to gel, they'll be vastly improved once they get used to playing together. I like that they shopped size in the off season, they just need to get sorted playing together.
Poitras' is bigger this year but at 20 he still has a way to go, with his size and his game.
The way this team is structured, with a solid defensive d-man on every pairing to free up his partner, we can expect to see more of the D jumping up. Maybe that'll give Lindholm an opportunity to improve your opinion of him

Loss to the Pred's looks worse ones the final score than it was. This team just hasn't quite jelled yet. It's painfully obvious the roster changes and early road trip haven't helped any. There's too much talent there for it not to come together eventually but this missing by by inches they're suffering through makes for a tough watch at times. The upcoming schedule isn't going to help much, no extra practice time on the horizon.
