Belichick to the Giants?

he won't get the gig... but if it was offered hell yeah he'd take it.... wouldn't even think twice about it...

i'd bet he has already made inquiries...
Interesting... thought his relationship with the mara family was pretty good? I don't know who John mara is targeting as his next HC.. they have some pieces on offense and defense..

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Offensive consultant for the rest of the year.
That’s doable.

But again, he has the Buffalo ties. And Buffalo desperately could use him right now. They also would probably hire him as an OC eventually. We won’t be doing that.

Daboll and the Bills did not part on good terms.
I don't see him in a huge rush to run back there.

The raiders- with his ties to Brady could be an option? They currently don't have an OC fired there OC..

All the talk in Buffalo right now is that Joe Brady has run out of ideas and his offense is stagnant.

Daboll is from Buffalo and considers it home.

This would have the flavor of McD returning to New England.
Gonna be an interesting offseason for the Bills. A lot of issues both personnel and coaching, biggest I feel is the GM. They’re void of talent both defensively and at wr.

Josh isn't leaving.
After l'affaire Caserio, the NFL made all contract clauses preventing coaches/FO staff from seeking promotions inoperable. So there's nothing the Pats can do to prevent it, per se . . . if he really wants to leave.

That said, (1) I doubt Vrabel would've hired him if he planned for it to be a one-year stepping stone. The last thing Maye needs is five OCs in five seasons. (2) Maye basically opens up Josh's playbook even wider than it was under Brady, given what Maye can do out of the pocket.

Josh. Isn't. Leaving.

Joe Schien was the reason he took the NYG job.. I believe schein was with the bills at one time?

I don't think he's in a huge hurry to get another job, the Giants will be paying him for a bit still.
And I wouldn't blame him.. Spend time with his family, get some normalcy back in his life mentally recharge.. Josh said the year off did wonders for him..

for those thinking he's potentially shuffling off to Buffalo, do you think the Bills are out on Joe Brady?

the scored 525 points last year, are half way to 500 again this season...

It was my immediate thought too, but now i'm not so sure there is a place there for him... unless the bills offense completely implodes this year...

I think he ends up in Cleveland because why not, they collect players/coaches like a 1995 beanie baby fiend... and theoretically he's an upgrade over Tommy Rees...

If and when he does decide to take another NFL job.. I'd say it's a safe bet he's going somewhere that has a QB.

Joe Brady is safe in my opinion.. up in Buffalo. Has any of Buffalo draft picks on defense even played this season? Thier roster is absolutely devoid.

I read something that said many consider Josh Allen a better QB now than in his Daboll years. Unless Brady gets a HC job, I can't see why they'd prefer Daboll back.

it is a good relationship by all reports...

Bill, and i love BB for what he did here, he's 73 years old now, will be 74 next year... You really want to hire a 74 year old coach with trust issues, hoping he can continue developing a potential franchise QB in Dart after he flamed out with Mac Jones?

Thats a big ask...

BB recommended Dabol to the Giants for HC job.

Thats kinda how i am seeing it... But who knows why teams do what they do when they do silly things...

And whoever the ST coach was that he recommended to them, as well. The Giants need to go in another direction.

Good, good points.. that right there may be the reasons mara looks elsewhere.

It's still intriguing to say the least.. of if BB would ever return to the NFL.

If he is given the opportunity, I believe he would. unless its the Jete, then he'd be all "I'm Good".

and truthfully i don't believe that. If the jets offered him the HC job, he'd take it.
