Having done so they already have. This will just embolden the hawks in the NFLPA to encourage players to take it all to litigation until they get the desired result. No need to negotiate for something you can leverage via litigation.

LOL are you joking? The reason he has to recuse himself is because he is biased in some way. Which means this is a guy you can't rely on to come down with one of the biggest decisions concerning the NFL in years. Is that really something that gives you confidence in the commissioner's office? They had to pull Tagliabue out of retirement to handle this one!

Now, there's an independent party. What, they couldn't dig up Kenesaw Mountain Landis?The NFL and NFLPA have confirmed that Goodell is recusing himself from the upcoming Bountygate appeals. He will be replaced by former commissioner Paul Tagliabue.
