Yeah, watching this team make the playoffs every year is a real drag.
Not in my book, big guy.

It has significantly more to do with execution and luck, or a respective lack thereof, than it does with talent.

Next year is going to be more of the same. Pats are going to be one of the top scoring teams in the league. They will go 12-4, win the division. Then they will run into a team that "clogs" the short middle of the field with their freed up safties....were Wes and the tights run their routes. Brady will then have know where to go with the ball.
Sick of this *****
So what are you whining about, then?
So when we won 3 out of 4 SBs it was mostly luck? I guess we should just keep the team the same and just hope for luck, maybe Ocho gets lucky and has a good game. Lets pray.
Consider the current state of the Patriots' rivals during their dynasty era. Now consider the current state of the Patriots. We are incredibly lucky.
I think you need to adjust your monitor. I was responding to someone else.
Or you can just bugger off.
I have no preference.
Next!
Did Robert Meacham sign anywhere yet he's on my very short list.
If you were responding to someone else, why would you quote my post?
Probably your animal magnetism.

Signed with the Whale's Vaginas.

The fact remains that the team is paper thin at WR and nothing is being done to correct it. They struck gold getting a GOAT for a 6th round pick and they're giving him crap WRs to throw to.
I see your point but I think we have tried that the past couple of years. One deep pass would have put the game away instead of 40 short passes and one drop that ruins it all. Its frustrating that we have to bust our ass to drive with two nonathletic skeletons while Eli chucks it 80+ yards in the final minute.
You are one strange individual.
Adding better WRs is not some magic pill that automatically wins championships if you have a great QB. In the current era look no further than the Colts, who used the formula so many here are pleading for; net result was one championship in fourteen seasons. Similarly you can look in the past to players like Dan Fouts (zero in fifteen seasons) or Dan Marino (zero in seventeen seasons).
The other thing to consider is this: people seem to have contracted amnesia regarding the state of the Patriots defense. For every dollar spent on the wide receiver position, that's one less dollar available to spend on all the positions in need of upgrade elsewhere.
