I just don't like people who denigrate women.

Shut up is quite different than Stay cute and shut up.

Because it's such a non issue that it isn't funny. I dare say on the scale of things Gisele has had thrown at her in her life time, this would be on the tamer side.

If it's a full on problem, Goodell will fine Jacobs and force him to issue some sort of apology.

Then, if that's the logic being employed, if Jacobs had an issue with Giselle's comments, he should have taken it up with the Brady family himself and left the media out of it.

We've established Jacobs is an idiot with a decorated history of doing and saying stupid things.

Honestly, the stay cute stuff is what bothered me, less so the shut up.

The combo of the two, and his apology is about talking about another player's qwife. Again, talking about a player's wife, maybe that's a mistake but not enough to really make me care one way or another.

So, this is not an apology, IMO.

For me, it sounded like he said, "Stay cute and shut up and go fix me a chicken pot pie."
