Plus he doesn't really break down well before tackles, he bends his back, instead of his legs. The combination of those isn't really something you want in your box safety.Could Browner be converted to an in the box SS? Not that Chung need a replacing or anything. I liked him as a Patriot, but I couldn't deal with all those PI calls again.

Hi. Being from south Louisiana I watch most of the Saints games. They do NOT maximize his strengths like when he was a patriot. They usually just put Breaux and Browner on the top two wide outs. He's getting way more penalties this year because the coaching staff has Browner on burners and Browner has to hold them to keep up with them. They should put him up against slower wr's and te's like when he was a patriot.Browner was a solid contributor here last year, but he is an unusual player with a wide array of strengths and weaknesses. The coaching staff in NE used him in ways that maximized his strengths in specific situations and with key match-ups and that's why he was successful.
I don't know how Nola is specifically using him, but I imagine they are asking too much of him.

You would think that someone getting paid the big bucks would have the foresight to see that putting a slower cb on a burner like Ted Ginn might not be the best of ideas. Why doesn't a professional coaching staff know this?
This is a nice post. The fact is that Browner on the Pats for the close to the vet minimum would be a great asset in certain specific situations. He is no longer a starter in the league. But he still has a rather unique set of skills that would be very valuable if he is put in the right situations.Hi. Being from south Louisiana I watch most of the Saints games. Still got for love Browner. Hope the best for him.
At the beginning of the year, I was hoping Butler would be a little above average and Ryan average. I think Butler has been very good while Ryan has been good and trending up. Now, I'm worried how much it will cost to keep themSo Browner is bad and being exposed worse than last year and Revis has gained weight and is apparently not playing with the same passion he once did? Interesting.
Meanwhile, somewhere in Gotham, Butler is making plays everywhere and Ryan found whatever he lost from his rookie season? Interesting.
