I gotta say, I'm happy to see the responses in this thread. I remember after the Pats beat the Chargers (was it the '6 playoffs?) there was alot of *****ing and moaning from the Chargers about the way the Patriots celebrated. They were roundly killed (rightfully so) on here. Branch deserves the same treatment...you don't want to see the Jets celebrating after the game? Then kick the crap out of them on the field and you celebrate, it's as simple as that.

Exactly. I've seen the Patriots players of yesteryear mocking their share of teams that they left beaten and bruised. This is a case of "I can dish it, but I can't take it."

This......... I'm okay when players do their silly "disrespect" schtick. It's part of the game. If that anger fuels you to play better the next time around, all the better.

I completely agree. Branch will here about this from BB, that's for sure.
Hopefully he will tell him to shut up.....

Branch may want to hold back on his feelings a little bit before he catches the head coach's wrath. And anyway, our deficiencies along the interior O-Line, DE, and WR (something that many of us were point out around here long before that game) merely caught up to us against the Jets. It also didn't help that, for once, the OC actually called a bad game.

Not sure what Deion was thinking or how he want the Jets to react. But if he uses that as motivation in future games to play better against the Jets, than I guess it was the right move for him. I hope he gets one more ring because he started his career off with buzz and needs to end his career the same way. Hopefully he has a big season this year.

Whatever. I like Branch but he needs to deal with it. Our Pats got their asses kicked and the Jets earned their bragging rights. Best way to deal with it is go to work on the Jets on the field next time they see them.

I didn't like the postgame celebrations either but we did our fair share of celebrating when we beat them 45 -3! Win and it won't be a problem!
