Brady's pocket performances this year has been nothing short of outstanding.

Without looking at the stats (perhaps someone could?) as I am not a stat geek, I just have the sense that Brady is performing much better in a compressed or collapsing pocket this year than last, and much better than in years past.

He seems to me to be a lot less flustered, less skittish.

I feel that this has been a huge key in making the route/concept adjustments that we've had to make, such as against the Cowboys 3-2 heavy dime, or against the Colts reduced overload coverage that tried to nullify what we do so well underneath, when we switched to a combination of bang PA's and zone beaters in the 2nd half or seam patterns, both of which require more time to unfold.

Could this have been a mentality he worked on this past offseason?

Brady has been a different QB since the KC debacle. I don't know if someone talked to him about his game or he just had a moment of introspection that changed him, but he reverted to 2001-2007 Brady in the week following. Now he has his early career pocket presence, 2015 brain, and some extra mobility that came from somewhere. It's incredible really.

Since the KC game not incl. playoffs....

Sick.

No stats, Collinsworth mentioned it during the game. I also had a thread yesterday linking to a very good MMQB article on that subject, as well as the adaptability of the Pats offense, especially the past two weeks. Worth a read.

Sorry I missed your thread. Spot on.

I also feel there was something that he worked on, on this past offseason that has made a difference this year.
